The CSUMB Library Catalog lists books and videos in the CSUMB Library's collection.

Discipline-specific article databases

Start at the library home page, and click the Articles & Databases link. Links in the left-hand column of the Articles & Databases page will take you to subject-oriented research guides where you can discover the best discipline-specific article databases for conducting research on your topic. You may also wish to explore the library's general or multidisciplinary databases.Once you are familiar with certain databases, you can choose them directly from the list on the right.

Books at other libraries

First try...
Search the CSU Union Catalog of the 23 CSU Libraries. CSUMB students, faculty and staff may use ILLiad to borrow books directly from other CSU libraries.

Then try...

WorldCat over 1 billion books, videos, maps, etc.


CSUMB students, faculty and staff may use the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan Request Form to borrow books found in the catalogs above.

Locate articles

Once you have located citations to journal articles, follow the Find Text button to determine whether the text of an article is available in the Library or through its subscription databases. More...

You may also consult the CSUMB Journals List for a list of journals available at CSUMB in the library or online.
